Full-quality stereo WAV. The groove shown above, including brightness, crunch and echo.
Choose a feel and press Play. Swap the hats, clicks or kick using written parts. The snare stays put, and protected cells stay protected. Surprise me combines parts into a fresh starting beat. Cut it up adds tiny snare repeats; cells marked 2× or 3× play that many cuts. O marks an open hat. Keep this version remembers a good beat; Back to kept beat restores it, even after a reload. Undo change reverses your last edit.
Want to place hits yourself? Open the beat editor. Click a square once to add or remove a hit, or drag across several squares. One Undo reverses the whole stroke. Hit previews work after your first Play. Choose Soft, Normal or Loud for new hits, and Closed or Open for hats. Pin hits protects squares from variations and chunk moves; shift-click also pins. A drum name mutes it; Listen hears that drum alone. Chunks are sections of the beat: their arrows move hits right, or choose two chunk names to swap them.
Speed is the pace. Bounce delays the little offbeats for a skipping feel. Brightness muffles or opens the sound. Recorded drums use real acoustic hits and cymbal tails, with pitched, gated fragments. Texture & cuts controls their pitch and how tightly their tails are cut. Older saved beats retain the Original synth kit. Changes arrive when the current loop finishes, so the beat keeps its footing. Space starts/stops outside controls; Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes. Save beat keeps named versions; Back up saved beats downloads a copy. Mobile browsers may pause audio when the screen locks.
